If these connections are already in place, view your Business Integrations and ensure Dash Hudson is listed there. To view which permissions are enabled, click View and Edit. We require that all permissions are enabled for each brand connecting to Dash Hudson.

If these connections are in place with your Platform Connections page refreshed, reach out to your CSR with a link to your Facebook Page, a screenshot of the Instagram account connected within the Facebook Page, and a screenshot of the Page Roles to ensure you’re an admin.

Q: Once I connect my Facebook, how far back will the data go?
A: We’re able to track page data from 2 years back after connecting. Individual Facebook post data will pull in the most up-to-date stats on the day the Facebook Page is connected, and then update from that moment forward.
Q: Why do I need to connect my Instagram account to my Facebook page?
A: Due to Facebook’s recent API changes, we require your connection to populate all of your Facebook and Instagram data into the Dash Hudson platform. Each brand should have their Instagram account linked to their specific Facebook business account and page through Facebook as opposed to two separate connections.
Q: I’m not seeing all the data immediately after connecting. Is something wrong?
A: It may take up to 24 hours for your historical Facebook Page data to populate in the platform.
Q: Why did my Facebook Page disconnect from Dash Hudson?
A: The Facebook API token will become invalidated if there is a password change or if permissions are changed in the Business Integrations. If this happens, the connection can be re-established in your Dash Hudson Platform Connections.
Q: I’m not seeing any error messages pop up, but I want to double-check that my Facebook Page is connected to Dash Hudson. How do I do that?
A: View your Facebook Business Integrations page. Dash Hudson will be listed under “Active” with permissions switched on.
Q: I’m having trouble with my Facebook Page and want to speak to a Facebook employee. How do I do that?
A: Head over to the Facebook Business Help Centre, scroll down to where it says Contact Our Support Team and click Chat.
A major component in expanding your brand’s reach beyond your own audience on Facebook and Instagram is “boosting”, or putting ad spend behind organic posts. In order to be able to view these boosted post metrics, you’ll need to connect the ad account(s) that control post boosting.

General Troubleshooting Tips
I’m getting an error message saying “We are unable to connect your Facebook Ads Account”
First, double-check your connections as outlined in both sections 1 and 2 above.
If it appears that you’ve connected your account within the Platform Connections page, click “Manage Ad Accounts” and ensure your brand is toggled ‘on’.
I don’t see the boosted metrics in the platform
Check that the right ad account is connected to Dash Hudson within the Platform Connections page. First, confirm that you are listed as the person that connected the Facebook Ad Account. You should see your name listed beside the Facebook Ad Account icon. Click the "Manage Ad Accounts" button and confirm that the right Ad Accounts are toggled on.
Q: Where do boosted metrics show in Dash Hudson?
A: Metrics for boosted posts are currently only shown within the global pop-up. You’ll be able to see a breakdown of organic vs. paid likes, comments, and impressions.
Q: Are engagement and effectiveness metrics available for boosted metrics?
A: At the moment, engagement and effectiveness metrics are based on organic metrics.
Q: Are the boosted metrics retroactive?
A: Yes. We can retroactively pull metrics from all previously boosted posts associated with your connected Facebook Ad Account. However, we cannot access metrics from previously boosted posts that have been deleted, or posts that have been boosted from a separate Ad Account that is not connected to the Dash Hudson platform.
Q: I’m not seeing all the boosted data immediately after connecting. Is something wrong?
A: It may take up to 48 hours for all retroactive data to populate within the platform. If there are any issues with this data beyond the 48 hour window, reach out to your Customer Success Representative.
